Philip has created many special designs for companies along the way;
from Beatrix Potter garden figurines, gnomes to Honey Pots and for fun, full size horses.
The horses were later used in a christmas display (pictured below) and a Raft Race where they made 6 out of fiberglass, attached them to pedaloes and sailed down the river as the famous Ben Hur charriot race.
All that is required for a special design is a good clear drawing or a photograph and Philip can sculpt into 3D. The more specific the design requirements, the longer and the harder it is to come up with a direct copy.
These are the clay versions of the Beatrix Potter range, hand made by philip. The larger of the figures were up to 1½ feet. These attractive garden figures sold extremeley well and with the powder coating that they were given were suitable all year round in the outdoors.
The McGregor range also came with the classic wooden wheel barrow, watering can and bird nesting box. Even the packaging was full color packaging incorporating original illustrations from Beatrix Potter.
Gnomes
Another special design for a company. In all there were eight differnt gnomes designed for the garden in a range of colours. 1 is even pictured reading the daily mail.....

The Honey Pot
Made especially for a Bee farmer to help market and sell their honey in.
The White Horses
Designed originally for the annual River Dart Raft Race, a fancy dress event that used to cross 3 weirs. Fortunately they survived, made in expanded foam and were later used again as a Christmas display for the Babbacombe Pottery.
